Easy twinkly candles

Difficulty: Easy / Time: 0.5 hours per item / Cost: 50p per item
An absolute winner for decorating any part of your wedding. Whether you use them to line the aisle, hanging from a tree or to light the pathways in the evening. These easy decorations take no time at all but can create a big impact.
What you will need:
– A selection of glass jars (we asked people to collect them for us too 😉
– Coloured ribbon (2m per jar)
– Twine
– Double sided tape
– Tealights / traditional or LED
Method:
Take your clean glass jar and stick a small piece of double sided tape on the neck of the jar. Next take the middle of the length of twine and stick to the tape. Then wrap around the neck of the jar crossing over on the opposite side. Repeat wrapping and crossing over 2/3 times and then tie in a bow.
Cut the ribbon in half and slip the end of one of the ribbons under the twine you’ve wrapped around the neck and tie a knot. Repeat on the opposite side. Your glass jar should now be able to be hung by the two ends of the ribbon. Pop a candle into the jar and you’re done!
Tip: If you’re feeling a little more creative, try cutting shapes out of a page of an old book or tissue paper and wrapping around the outside of the jar, securing with some double sided tape.
